Display options

The R3M platform provides a range of display options to help you tailor the dashboard and card views to your analysis needs. These options allow you to control what information is shown, how it is organized, and how results are visualized for maximum clarity and impact.

General display options​

  • Show/hide total card: Toggle the display of the TOTAL card, which represents the average score of all stimuli. Useful for benchmarking.

  • Sorting cards: Sort cards by:

  • Name

  • R3M Score

  • Base (number of respondents)

  • % Lovers

  • % Rejectors Choose ascending or descending order.

  • Font size adjustment: Change the font size for stimulus names and displayed words to improve readability.

  • Save dashboard preferences: Save your preferred display settings as defaults for your user account.

Card display modes​

  • Normal mode: Shows detailed word-level results for each card.

  • Thematic mode: Groups words by themes for a broader view of emotional territories.

  • Synthesis mode: Displays only the total R3M score and % Lovers/Rejectors, hiding word-level details for a summary view.

  • Tag cloud view: Visualizes the most impactful words as a tag cloud, with word size reflecting importance or frequency.

Score and threshold settings​

  • Score limits: Set minimum and maximum score limits for display (default: -20 to +60). Adjust to display more or fewer words as needed.

  • Lovers/rejectors thresholds: Change the thresholds for what counts as a Lover (default: R3M Score > 30) or Rejector (default: R3M Score < 0).

Card and sequence visibility​

  • Display hidden cards: Show cards that have been hidden from the dashboard.

  • Display sequence names: If your project includes multiple sequences (e.g., waves, countries), display the sequence name on each card for clarity.

Comparison and icon options​

  • Icon selection: Choose which icons to use for visualizing differences (e.g., sun/cloud, thumbs up/down).

  • Display missing words: Show words below the display threshold if they have a significant difference versus the comparison item.

  • Display diamond words: Show words that are below the main display threshold but are specific to a stimulus (minor strengths).

  • P-value format: Choose between numerical or percentage display for significance tests.

Export display options​

  • Export settings: When exporting cards as images, select which configuration elements (filters, comparison criteria) to include.
  • Absolute max value for bar size: Adjust if a word has a very high score that flattens other bars, to rebalance the display.
