Export data
The R3M platform enables you to export your project data for further analysis, reporting, or archiving. You can download both the visual results (cards as images) and the underlying data (Excel files) for in-depth exploration and custom reporting.
Exporting Individual data (Excel)
How to export
- Go to your project dashboard.
- Click the Download data (XLS) icon in the top right-hand corner.
What’s included
The exported Excel file contains two main tabs:
-
R3M score data
- Shows the three individual words per respondent and their R3M scores for each stimulus.
- Useful for reviewing raw “3 words” data and understanding how word groups were formed.
- Allows you to rank participants by their R3M score and cross-analyze with other data (e.g., rational questions, liking scores).
-
Groups and tags
- Displays the R3M score and headcount for each word or group of words per stimulus.
- Useful for advanced analyses such as CFA (Confirmatory Factor Analysis) or PCA (Principal Component Analysis).
- Note: For CFA, negative values must be shifted to absolute values, and blanks should be replaced with "0".
tip
The Excel data reflects the current configuration and filters applied at the time of export. If you have filtered your data, only the filtered subset will be exported.
Important notes
- The R3M algorithm goes beyond simple word counts: scores represent the importance and emotional activation of each word, not just frequency.
- Less frequently mentioned words can have a high impact if their emotional activation is strong.
- Always check your exported data for completeness and formatting before using it for further analysis.
